Defendant alleged that he never subsoribed for the paper, tbat one Carson Adair, who lived in the premises now 000upied by defendant, and in whose earn it had been sent, had ordered the paper ; that when he went away he had made a present of the paper to defendant and had instructed the poet master to deliver it to defendant who had imagined that Adair bad paid for it, otherwise he would not have taken it. Thomas Dobson, of Tilbury Centre, was united in marriage to Mies Annie Geor- gina Hemsworth, second daughter of Mai. E. Hemsworth, Mill area.
