Mr. Gray and bride left for their new
home in Wingham after the ceremony.

annual meeting of this Society seas held
on Wednesday afternoon in the Council
Chamber, Brussels. After minutes were
adopted annual report was read showing

IMPERIAL MALE QUARTETTE—Owing to a
rush of engagements the "Harvarde"
were unable to visit Brussels in January
in oonneotion with the Citizens' Enter•
tainment Course, so the Committee have
substituted the well known and highly
recommended Imperial Quartette, of
London. The personnel of this musical
company consists of 1st Tenor, J, Coates
Lochart ; 2nd Tenor, Albert Sarpenter ;

ORrT.—It was a matter of great sur-
prise last Friday morning when it was
reported that Mrs. Wm. Mooney, Mill
street, Brussels, had passed away. She
was away visiting on Monday and able to
'attend to her washing on Tuesday, but
catohiog cold on the last mentioned day
she took seriously ill and her sudden de•
mise was due t0 heart failure. Mrs.
M000ey was a native of Yorkshire, nog.,
her maiden name being Ann Carter. She
MS married twice, first to Mr. Burton,
by wbom she had several children, Geo.,
of Parkdale ; Wm. and Joseph, of Brae.
eele ; Mrs. Currie, of Seaforth ; and Mrs.
McDonald, of Morris, Deceased was
married to the late Wm, Mooney some
22 years ago. He pre deceased her 11
yeare since, Mre. Mooney was is mem.
ber of the Methodist oharoh and was
highly esteemed. The funeral took plaoe
on Sunday morning to Egmondville
cemetery after a abort service by Rev,
S. J. Ailic, Mrs. Mooney was in her
84001 year, but was remarkably active for
a person of her years. Her earlier years
of married life were epeut in Tucker.
