Deceased carried on a shoemaking shop in Brussels and bad been a resident of this piece for the past 6 or 7 years. While not the moat robust man in the town, owing to asthma, be was usually at work and was a quiet, in- dustrious roan, enjoying the esteem of many. He was quite poorly last week and on Sunday was taken to the home ef David Haiste where, despite the beet of care, he passed away as above stated. He was about 61 years of age and was a widower, his wife having died about 8 V5008 ago. Mr. McCullough was a Pres- byterian in religion ; a Conservative in politics, and also beonged to the Orange Oder. Three sons and one daughter survive him, but none of them are resi- dents of Brussels.
