Jennie MoSteeu, an athletic!: young
woman of Pittsburg, had a pitobed battle
with a mad bulldog on Butler street.
The animal first caught her by the left
hand, biting it clear through. Though
the beast weighed not less than 05 pounds,
Miss MoSteeu grabbed him by the oollar
and swung him round, alung-shot fashion,
and then let him go. The dog lauded on
his head in the middle of the street, but
dashed hack and fastened his teeth in the
girl's dress. With blood gushing from
her hand, the giel fought bhe brute, pick-
ing bine up and throwing him down with
brae enough to almost stun bine. Hay.
