VERY BORE HAND. -A short time ago
while waebiog clothes Mre. R. Johnston,
of Wingham, bad the miefortaoe to have
a needle, left in one of the garments, ran
into the hall of her thumb on the right
hand. The offending steel was supposed
to be all removed but as the band wee
giving trouble from something like blood
poisoning an examination wag made by a
second dootor when the remaining por-
tion of the needle was dieoovered. The
hand is very sore, the swelling having ex.
tended up the arm. We hope the dis-
abled member will soon be restored to ite
