Province, will regret to learn of his death

years, and had always enjoyed good

Hallett, won a $10 prize es the beet fifer
at the Orenvemen'a celebration at Gode
rich on the 12th. Mr.' Beet is a member
of the Londesboro'lodge, which won the
prize as the largest lodge present.

at the home of hie parents here early on

du(ted by Rev. George MoQuillin, assisted
by Rev. Wm. Lowe, of Wingham. The
funeral was a large one and many of

church were unable to get inside the

MATRIMONIAL —A pretty weddiug took
plaoe in Blyth Methodist ohurah at high
noon Wednesday of last week, when Mies
Ida Taman, youngest daughter of John
Taman, and one of Blyth'epopular young
ladies, became the wife of Alfred Bart,
of London. The m0rriage ceremony was
performed by Rev. John Holmes, in the
preeenoe of a large gathering of invited
guests and Maude. At the oppionted
boor the bride entered the church, which
was beautifully decorated with choice
flowers, leaning on the arm of her brother,
W. W. Taman, of Exeter, who gave
her away. Mendeleeohn'e wedding
march was played by Mise Mend Good-
win, of Clinton. The bride was beauti-
fully attired in white Bilk trimmed with
white satin ribbon and embroidered
chiffon, the veil being naught np with
white oarnatione, and carried a shower
bognet of white nukes. The bridesmaid
wee Miee Elva Vance, of Mitchell, who
wee becomingly attired iu pale blue dim•
ity over white trimmed with white lace
