the coming contests for the silver medal
offered by the President of the club—Dr.
MoNaughton—and also for the trophy
silver oup pub np by W. Jaakeon, of
Clinton. The rules are that after the
first round is played in each series there
will be a new drawing by the winning
and losing eidee reepeotively until the
contest narrows down to the winner of the
last two. The successful trundler in the
contest for the Jaokeon cup will have to
go to a tournament at Clinton and meet
competitors from other townein the same
