The mem- bers and adherents maintained their good reputation by providing an abund. ant supply of oboist's fowl, Oakes, pies and other things too numerous to men- tion. It was indeed equal to any of the sumptuous' feasts of ancient days. It differed from them and many other fowl suppers in modern times only in the people giving as an offering the firstling of their flocks. Frequently at fowl suppers, even in modern times, some people give the firstlings of their flock— yes, the very first old ohiak they ever 'owned, but this cannot be said of the Ethel people. They gave the tenderest, biggest and best they bad. Supper was served in the Township Hall. The pro. grain was excellent and the various per. sons taking part acquitted themselves moat creditably.
