PRR4oYTRRxAN OoIIROn.-The following
partioulars are taken from the annual
report of Molesworth Presbyterian church
and will be of interest;to readers of Tim
POST :-Reports were read first by the
session which indicated that the oongre•
cation was making continued progress.
It showed that 21 new names had been
added to the communion roll during tbe
year, 7 removed by certificate to other
parte and 2 by death. The Sabbath
school report was also encouraging and
showed that $80,00 had been raised for
ltIiaeione and Sabbath school supplies.
There was also a favorable report given
in regard to tbe Y. P. S. The W. F. M.
8. gave an interesting report alarming
that $75.00 bad been raised by this
Society. Treasurer's report is worthy of
special notice. The loose plate collection,
amounted to $187.00, an inorea•e of 037.00
over last year. 'total amount raised for
the schemes of the oburoh from all sources
was over $200 00, an increase over last
year of $42.00. The report also ehowed
that $91.00 more than last year bad been
raised for the payment of the pastor's
salary. Amount for the church building
fend, for repairing and building new
church sheds, oaretakor, pastor's salary,
(wllioh is fully paid,) sundries, such as
wood, light, &o., and a payment of 8200.00
on a former indebtedness, inoreaeed the
total amount to over 81,100.00, the largest
amount in any year during the present
pastorate of six years except the year
1897 when the new church was built.
The prospect for the future ie bright and
hopeful. The pastor i0 Rev. G. Ballon•
tyne, Those associated with him in the
Elderebip are Robt. Elliott, Duncan
McDonald, J. G. Mitchell, Peter Orerar
and E. Doan. The congregation is large
and the attendance most encouraging.
