George Olvar's shop was oleo well filled with a nicely dressed display ooneisting of Bever. al chola° young cattle, lambs, hogs, eau age, hams, headobeeee and other articles in the meat line. We were not able to secure a list of the animals butchered. The exhibit was decked with flower rosettes &o., and the proprietor was oom. plimented by a large number ot people. Mos. W. Bo Wrosois Plasm AWAT.—Af ter a very brief illness Janet Anderson Young, reliot of the late W. R. Wilson, formerly of Brussels, paid Nature's debt last Saturday noon at the home of her daughier, Mre. J. MaBain, at Toronto. Deceased had been ont to Stoullville for Christmas with her daughter, Mrs. H. J. Norden, and was unusually bright and cheerful. Friday evening she was striek• en with apoplexy and passed away ae stated above. Mrs. Wilson was 74 years of age asci bad been a well known reel. dent for 85 years leaving here 8 years ago for a residence with het daughters, Mr. Wilson died 9 years ago. The surviving children are Jas, of Wabash, Ind. ; John of Innistail,. N. W. T. ; Wm. of Morris ; Alex. and Robert, Bagot, Mao. ; David, Orr, North Dahota ; Mrs. Grant, Mon• Lana ; Mrs. Morrison, London ; Mrs. MoBain, Toronto ; and Mrs, Morden, Stooftville. Mrs. Wilson was a kind• hearted, motherly woman, with deep religions aonvictions. Her circle of friends was large and loyal. Funeral took place at Brussels on Monday after. noon, a abort impressive service being held in Melville dumb by the pastor, Rev, Jno. Rose, B. A.
