There were also lambs, pork, eaneage,
bologna, headcheese, haggis, blood and
white puddings, deo. whioh together with
the tasteful arrangement and decorations
looked very nice indeed and was very
oreditsble to the proprietor. George
Olvar's shop was oleo well filled with a
nicely dressed display ooneisting of Bever.

secure a list of the animals butchered.

ter a very brief illness Janet Anderson
Young, reliot of the late W. R. Wilson,
formerly of Brussels, paid Nature's debt
last Saturday noon at the home of her
daughier, Mre. J. MaBain, at Toronto.
Deceased had been ont to Stoullville for
Christmas with her daughter, Mrs. H. J.
Norden, and was unusually bright and
cheerful. Friday evening she was striek•
en with apoplexy and passed away ae
stated above. Mrs. Wilson was 74 years
of age asci bad been a well known reel.

told. W. H. MoOracken was voted to
the chair and eloquently but briefly drew
a picture of the office holders of the past
and present and then calledupon the
nominees. Mr. Leckie was not seeking
Municipal honors and made way for
younger men. S. Wilton asked for gen.
erous support. N. F. Gerry wanted to
see better streets, was out for the honor
and glory of the Reeve's Omar. R. Hen-
derson thought officeholders should attend
regularly to business, he had only missed
1 meeting in 2 years. Advised perma•
nent road making with broken stone ; was
sure the Ocher Factory was a benefit to
the town. R. Thomson, A. 0. Dames
and Alf. Backer were not present. G. F.
Blair addressed the electors at some
length on the Lookridge By law and read
the agreement as proof of the very care.

was a good one and should prove bene-

are 5 Councillors in the field with 4 to he

chair and gave everybody a good show.
