BTEELE ENTERS INTO REST.—Last Friday Mrs. Mary Steele, an old and reegeoted resident, passed away to her reward in her 85th year. Funeral took plaoe on Monday afternoon. Rev, D. B. Deoeaeed was born he L•'oarkshire, Soot. laud, in the year 1820 and oame to Canada in 1823 living in the Counties of Leeds and Lanark. She afterwards made her home in Montreal and the island of Bermuda. In the letter piaoe ebe was married to Mr. Steele who died there of yellow fever. Mro. Steele was a hearty, industrious woman, kind and obliging. She vyas a member of the Presbyterian ohnrob for many years. She ie survived by two danghtere, Mrs. R.
