Nos. 5 and 8 and No. 8 fell in opposite directions and No. 7 remained on the rails holding 5 and 6 and 8 by the coupling lying in a emoting position aorose the traok, half on its side. It wee this one that we were fortunate to oo00py and escaped nnhert. In looking at the scene, which all oaoarred in a few eeoonds, cue could not help thinking that a -great number must have been killed and strange we it mast appear not one was. One old mac bad a leg broken in two places while a great number got out and bruieed. Same were internally hurt which may prove fatal. A dootor wee 800n on the ground and attended to the suffering. A gang of bands was speedily et work and had the traok ready for traffic in 6 hours. We got a enpply of oars from 'Rat Portage and we all dined in two hotels at the expense of the 0. P.
