ACCIDENT.—T. A. Hawkins received a
telegram last Saturday that bis father,
who realdee at Port Albert, and will be
79 years of age next October, was
seriously injured. Mr. Hawkins hasten-
ed to the parental home and found that
the old gentleman bad fallen from a
load of hay while working a hay fork and
bad been unconscious for quite a while.
One rib was separated from the breast
bone and the doctor thinks one long is
injured. His head also «offered and ea

be watched closely, The dootors are
hopeful. Mr. Hawkins bas been a very

Robert MoApine, of Toronto, formerly
of Suicide, and Mies Mary E., youngest
daughter of the host and hostess. Tbe
ceremony took place upon the lawn in

Wedding March was played by -Mise
Jean MoLanehlia and the bride was
given away by her father, Little Misses
Georgie and Bethel Kerrt neioea of the
bride, performed the duties of flower girls
very prettily and were attired in white.
A very becoming madame of white silk
trimmed with pearls woe worn by the
bride, who also had a pearl mealtime.
Hearty congratulations followed the
ceremony after wbiob the wedding ino•
aheon ensued. The bride's health was
proposed and oongratulatory remarks
offered by J. Leckie, Rev. D. B. McRae,
