By -Law to authorize the issu
of Grey, jor the purpose of
Guelph Junction Railway.
Whereas a petition signed by at least
50 Freeholders resident in that portion
of the said Township of Grey, in tbe
County of Huron, hereioafter described,'
snob petitioners being duly qualified
voters under the "Consolidated Munici-
pal AM 1908," has been presented M the
Council of the wad Township prayiug
that a By-law be submitted for the assent
of the qualified ratepayers, of such por-
Gioia of said Township, granting a bonus
of $5.000.00 in aid of the said Railway,
provided the said Railway be constructed,
on what is known as the central rents, by
way of the Villages of Milverton, Monit-
ion and Walton, the station of such Rail-
way for Walton to be not more than half
a mile distant from the present location
of Walton Postoilice now in the said
Village of eValton.
And whereas that portion of the mid
Townehip of Grey, hereinbefore referred
to and whieh is intereeted in the con-
struction of the said Railway, or through
or near to which the seed Railway may
pas% ie that portion of the mad Township
consisting of all lots and parte of lots
comprised in the 18111, 14th, 151,h, 16th,
17th and 18th ooneessions of the said
Townehip of Grey.
And whereas it is deemed expedient to
grout the prayer of the said petitiou,
And whereas in order thereto, it will be
neoessary to issue Debenture:1 of the said
Township .of Grey, for the sum of 95,000.-
00 as hereinafter provided (white] is the
mount of the debt intended to be mooted
by this By-law.) The proceeds of the
said Debentures to be applied to the said
purpose and to no other, and provided
that the said Railway be construebed on
what is knowu as the central route, as
hereinbefore described or defined and
provided that the shetion of suoh Railway
for Walton aforesaid, be not more then
half a mile distant from the present she
of Walton poetoftioe now in the mid
Village of Welton and a siding and flag
station at or near halfway between
'Walton and Monkton.
