Trusting everybody is well. LAURIER AT STRATPORD.-Friday of next week at Stratfold a public meeting will -be held at Stratford to be addressed by Sir Wilfrid Laurier, Hon. Geo. P. Graham, Hon. MacKenzie King, Hugh Guthrie, of Guelph, and other leading Liberals. Single fare tickets will be issued for the round trip. No doubt a large number from this locality will go to Stratford to hear Canada's Premier on this occasion, It will be a great gathering. Bewares places will be closed on Labor Day. The average make, even at this season, will run over a ton of butter per day. Patrons are well pleased, Miss RIA BRINE DECEASED. -Monday orthis week Miss Ria Brine, daughter of'Mrs. T. P. Brine, of Seaforth, and sister to Mrs. P, Scott, of Brussels, was called away from time. She had been in failing health for some time. The funeral took place on Wednesday after- noon. Miss Brine was a fine young woman who enjoyed the friendship of a wide circle of friends. She was no stranger to Brusselites who regret to bear of her demise and tender sympathy to the bereaved. Miss Fairy Robb '•enjoyed" a light attack of measles on arrival at Thorold where she went to visit. Mrs. W. J. Hunter, of Oshawa, is here on a visit to her sister, Mrs, Juo. Ballantyne, Turnberry street. Mrs. Robt. Oliver, Miss Elva and Milton were away last week visiting relatives at Stratford, Bright and North Easthope. Miss Laura Strachan, who hat a school at Beetou.
