THE CHINESE NEED HELP,
Ma,'Enrroa,-I have been thinking0
goud deal about the poor Chinese who
are dying in such numbers of hunger. .
Now we have plenty of good talent in

would get up a Concert and send the
proceeds to the Famine Fund, they
would be doing a noble work. Ido hope
something of the kind will be done.

ENCOURAGINO.—The oldest organized
Bible Class to 'Toronto is the "Baraca

waw. In the Mission Sunday School,

up with them as long as they could, and
finally tbrew thein out lock. stock apo
barrel That should have been enough
to sicken anybone of them, but their
eacher, Miss E. L. Skinner, had faith
in her black sheep, and followed them
out. They stuck together and met for
the first time after the exodus on the
steps of the Elizabeth street school.`
Frt.tn there they moved to a barn. The
earn belonged to the Women's Chris..

and fixed it up. The "incorrigibles'

organizations of the kind in the city,
