Harriet Fletcher Oox, 12th con., who has been a resident on the same farm for the past 54 years, celebrated her 92nd birthday on December • 18th. She was the first school teacher in S. S. No. I0, She has retained her vigor in a most astonishing manner and her eyesight and hearing have been unusually good, although her memory shows lapses lately. Mrs. Cox was born and married in Queen's Co., Ireland, and she and Mr. Cox name to America 66 years ago. They lived at Pittsburg, Penn., and Hallett township before coming to Grey township, • Mr. Oox died in 1882 aged 70 years. The children are Mrs. R. A. Bain, of Petrone : Mire. R. 0. Ennis. of Saskatchewan ; George, of Van: g , couver, B. C. ; Harry, deceased ; Richard and Miss Harriet, of Grey.
