—The estate of the late Dr. James E.
Sawdon,, of Listowel, who died of
smallpox, amounts to $0,700 but debts
may total, $4,000, and other claims are
made by the health department of
Listowel, a private hospital and other
patients with him there. Dr. Saw -
don's executor asked for advice at,
Osgoode Hall and an action
will be brought to clear up things.
Listowel built an isolation hospital,.
and wants $1,000:' Aprivate hospital,
where. Sawdoll was treated first, de-
mands $1,000 and patients there at the
time claim damages.
