making $I1,600 on the deal. Henry
Lytle of McLeod, a son -in-
law of Henry Coghlin, of Wal-
lace boundary, was the purchaser.

maiden name was Mary Cook and she
was born and married in Wellesley

Rev. Geo. Brown, who died at the
residence of her son-in-law, Phomas
Gibson, in Winnipeg, last Friday.
Mrs. Brown was loved by all who
knew her. Her lite was a living testi-
moray of the truth, purity and nobil-
sty of the Christian faith. One son,
George. of Ottawa, and two danghtere,
Mrs. T. W. Gibson, of Toronto, and
Mrs. Thos. Gibson, of Winnipeg, aur-

Tuesday of last •week Elizabeth Tyner,
beloved wife of Lancelot Nethery died
at her home, lot 42, con. 5, East
Wawanosh, aged 57 years. She clad
been in failing health for about a gear

ago. She was united in marriage to

Mrs. Nether was a faithful member

Cemetery, Belgrave. Mr. Nethery
and son and other friends are deeply

kindly and hospitable woman who had
