es, the 8 year-old girl of Chas. OOpp,
Markel street,' teas severely burned.
The little girl's dl'ess caught fire and
before the grandmother, who WaS lu

flames, the right arm and leg and the
child's face were badly burned. Mrs.
Oopp's hand also suffered from coming

girl is doing very well under the care

recently foe Ottawa, accompaniedby
her family to make their home at 'the

church presented Mrs. Anderson with

It has been announced that Rev.
Fr, Dunn, ofPat•khill,will take charge
of St. Joseph church and St. Michael's
church, Blyth, following Rev. Fr.
Hanlon. The reverend gentleman is
expected to take charge on Sunday,
September 25th. Father Dunn was
born near Wyoming on the tarsi
where his father, a brother and sister's
still reside. He studied for the priest-
hood at Berlin, Sandwich and Mon-
treal and was ordained Its priest in
1902. He spent one year in London
and in January 1904 he was appotut-
e(1 to the charge of the parish which
includes the Sacred Heart church,
Parkhill, and St. Columbus church,
