One of the most remarkable geo-

ilAVBN OF REFUGE.
One Recteen Wby BagIaatI JO Pre4
From Aaarehists.
The reason that Anarchist esimet
are paectioelly unknown; in Eng-
land is that the Terrorists have
agreed to regard theb eeuntry as
e sort of haven of refuge, and,
therefore, to be kept eeetral.
One of the few Anarchist out-
rages which eame anyway near be-
ing actually Carried out, was that
planned by Martial Bouedin, a
Frenchman, who, some thirteen
years ago, tried to blow up the
Greenwich Observatory, Hit bomb,
however, exploded prematurely
and he was the only person to suf-
fer, beiug killed on the spot,
At Walsann, in 1801, a plot WAS
metered 'by alien Anarchists to
blew up publie buildings and as-
sassinate certain officia.19, and
bombs were made and filled, But'
the police were kept well informed,
and ponneed upon the gang, most
•of whom were sentenced to long
terms of insPalsonment. About the
scene time an Italian, ,Anarchist,
named Pohl, together With a eons-
panion, was captured in Loudon
with an uncharged bomb in his pos-
eeesiori. These two also went into
penal servitude tor lengthy periods.
Occasionally, too, Anarchists
have falleri out amongst themselves
while temporarily resident in Eng-
land, with the result that murder
has been committed. A typkal,
case of this Glass of crime occurred
a few years back, when an Anar-
chist shoemaker, resident in Clerk-
enwell, London, was assassinated
by e "comraae." whom he tried to
induce to. 'murder Mr. Joseph
Chamberlain. ' •
The whelesak murders of Armen-
ians at Peckham, _too, in 1903, by
the Terrorist Dalcran'.may be pro-
perly relegated to this .eategory,
for victime and assassin; were alike
Atiarehists in everything but name.

How can I go, considering the, in-

Baron Brunnow listened gravely

CURE THAT OBSTINATE SORE.
Where Ordinary Salves fail Zam-Buk
Succeeds.
Chronic sores which cause trouble by
" breaking open," may be cured by Zorn. Bak,
as well as recent injuries and diseases. If
you suffer from some old sore—hidden, per-
haps, but none the less painful for that—
don't daily, apply Nature's healing essences
as provided in Zam-Bok. Airs. I. E. Ashton,
of 1st, Vickers Street, Fort William, tells
how valuable San-Buk is as a family balm.
She says t --"We first used San-Buk for
cuts and bruises, etc., and found it so satis-
factory that my husband started using it for
a chronic sore. For a long time he had been
bothered with an old sore on his leg„, and had
used various preparations, yet nothing had
permanently cured it. He began applying
Zam-Buk balm, and was very soon agreeably
surprised to notice a great improvement.
It was only a matter of a short time be-
fore Zarn•Buk had thoroughly cleansed the
sore of all foul matter and healing commenced.
It is now some months since the sore was
eampletely closed, and there is no likelihood
of it breaking out again.
"Since then my baby, eighteen months old,
has been cured of eczema on the scalp by
Zam. Bub, This eczema came in red pimples,
and if rubbed or scratched, formed into sores.
The child was very fretful from the irritation
of the scalp, but whenever Zam-Buk was
applied it seemed to bring the greatest relief,
Frequent applications were effective in clear-
ing all traces of the disease from the baby's
scalp in a short space of time, I feel it my
duty to give the credit where due, and I cheer-
fully recommend Zam•Buk to all sufferers from
chronic sores, bad leg, or eczema."
Zam.Buk is Nature's own healing balm,
being composed of pure herbal essences. It
is a sure cure for eczema, ringworm, deers,
cuts, burns, bruises, poisoned sores, chronic
wotinds, bad leg, piles, festering sores, chap.

injuries and diseases. Druggists and stores
