IN BRUCE COUNTY A well attended convention of en- thusiastic ministers and Christian lav - men of Bruce county was held in Walk- ertnll, June 280 for the purpo•:e oe in- troducing the County pian of Y. M. C. A. work in Bruce. The following were the speakers;— John Penman, Paris, chairman of the Provincial Committee. G. P. Blair, (lodurich, chairman of the Huron County Committee, C. M. Copeland, Provincial Secretary of Ole young Men's Christian Associa- tion of Ontario and Quebec. J, H. Crocker, Secretary of Brantford Association. A. Cullens, Provincial Secretary of County Work. L. C. Pluming, County Secretary, of Huron County. A. S. Hopper, ex•Seeretm'y. of. Wood- stock Aseouiatiou. Wilkie State Secretary, Los Angeles. Cal., who began work as au Association Secretary in 1867.
