out by Balling attention to a series of
charts, showing comparisons of city and
rural populations, church goers and non
church goers, amongst men in and out
of Sabbath Schools. These comparisons
were based upon actual figures collected
from a Couity in Ontario. The figures
showed that there were very small per.
centages of young men attending the
Churches and S. 5. The conclusion
arrived at from these figures was that
there was a serious lack of leadership ie
organizing and developing the forces of
young men along religious, educational,
social and phyeioal lines.
Reports were received from the local
organizations, as follows: -Dr. Price,
for Wingbam ; P. Plumsteel. Ior Clin-

Robinson, for Blyth, and Mr, South-

that the Y. M. C. A. County Movement

'Taylor Statten, Boy's Work Secy, of
Toronto Central Y. M. C. A. gave au
address on ''Boys Work " Inclinstaue-
ed by reference to his own experience,
the need of it. He indicated a number
of avenues along which the efforts of the
boys (night be directed. The necessity
of careful direction and oversight was
pointed out, as web as the dangers to he
avoided of interfering with the boy's
home and school duties.
One of the most profitable addresses
at the Convention was that given by C.
M. Copeland, of Toronto. The topic
set down on the program for him was
"The Y , 2y1. C. A at work in the
church.'"rile speaker took the liberty
of remodelling the topic so as to state the
"relationship existing between the Y.
M. C. A. and the church." It was not
one-sided but mutual bringing with it a
corresponding obligation. The church
is the parent whose duty is that of sup-
port and sympathy. The reason of ex-
istence of the Y. M, C A is not because
the church fails, hot it is an out -growth
of the Christian life of the church in its
spiritual sense, although. not an output
of ecclesiastical machinery. The pur-
pose of the church and Y. M. C. A.
ie one, the Y M. C. A. being a special-
ization for the work amongst men and
boys only, As to results the Y. M. C.

forces of the church in huildmg up the

Great danger In Headaches
It's often dangerous to consider
headache a trifling ailment. If the
heart aches, the stomach is out of
order and some serious disease may be
of the lungs.
The safest and best remedy for any
form of Oatarrh is Catarrhozone. It
is inhaled to all poses of the breathing
organs, kills the disease, and driven it
completely out of the system. co
