TKim, funeral of clerk of thelrtown�o G derich took place Monday llth inst., from St. George's church, the congregation of which the deceased was a member. Mr. McKim was until 'a short time ago in the drygoods business, taking the clerkship about a year ago. Fox° eighteen years he had been a resident of Godertch, before that time having been in business in several different places. Fora number of years he was in business in Barrie, where he lost his first wife and child, Mr. McKim was a member of the Masonic order, and the services Monday afternoon were under Masonic auspices. He is survived by his wife. In the dis- charge of the duties of clerkship he was always an efficient and courteous official, and in addition to being clerk of the town he was secretary of the water and light commission. The members of the town council and the officer's of the town attended the fun- eral in a body.
