One of Ehna's most highly respected residents passed away on Wednesday morning, 'tithe person of John Mor- rison, of Newry. For about 35 years he carried on a blacksmithing trade in the village of Newry, but failing health a year ago forced him to give up work and he sold his business. Morrison and family in their sad bereavement. ave e It is with regret that we announce the death of MargaretWhitfield, relict of the late John Morrison, of Newry, at the ripe old age 0185 years, 1lnonth and I0 clays. Mrs. Morrison had been enjoying excellent health until about three weeks ago when she complained of a pain in her foot. It was not thought serious at first but it gradual- ly became unbearable and when medi- cal edical aid was summoned it was found she was suffering from gangrene. All that could be done was in vain, and she breathed her last on Monday July 6th. Mrs. Morrison leaves to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother 1 son and 4 daughters, viz., David, of Calgary, Mrs. S. Brown, of Wyandotte Mich.: Mrs. Layburn, Palmerston and the Misses Mary and Agnes at home. Much sympathy is extended to the bereaved family in their sad loss.
