A Crooked Piece of Business.
The so-called Redistribution Commit-

considered the uusseisfaotory carving up

from the Oentre riding to the South.
This is the only alteration made in this
Go. and the report will be presented to
the House that way and no doubt carried.
This rename does not effect the political
phase of the Ridiugs.
North Huron will be composed of Ash-
field, West and Beet Wirwanosh. Blyth,
Morris, Wingham, Turnberry, Wroxeter
and Howick, giving an estimated Conser-
vative m .jnrity of over 200.

election by a m.juriiy of about 300.
T bus the Liberals of Huron will be in

possessing the mejoriby of votes if equit-
ably divided. ,
We will part company very reluctantly
with the stalwarts of Howiok, Turnberry,
Wroxeter end Morris in the hope that the
separation will nut exist very long.
New nominating conventions will have
to be held to the North and Centre rid-

and the severing of old organizations,
This gerrymander may prove a mill
round the nook of the promoters. It
proves the fallacy of the law permitting
Such changes to be made by any one
