Commons in South Huron, necessitate
ed by the demise of B, 13. Gunn, Con-
servative, of Seatorth, carne off on
Wednesday of this week add resulted
in a very marked victory for M. Y.
McLean, of Seaforth, Liberal nominee,'
over Henry Horton, of Tuckersmith,
the majority being 135, as against 111
for the late member at the last general
election when 'Phos, 'H racer was defeat-
ed. Hearty congratulations are ex-
tended to Mr. McLean who will at
once take his seat as the house is in
session.
