WITH the rousing Liberal Convention
held at Remelt last Friday was tom.
plated the round.op of Liberal stand-
ard bearers for the next Election to
the Dominion Parliament and the trio
will preeent a strong front when it comes
to the line of battle, even if the ridiuge
are all in the possession of the "enemy"
at the present. In East Heron Aroh,

HM aoquaintanoe with the major portion

HM defeat at lad eldatien WFIQ an un-

looked in unanimity for several years
and to this tacit wee no doubt at.
tributable the defeat at the hast contest
but with the (Mold of M. Y. MoLean,
of tbe Baron Expositor, who represented
South Huron for years in the Legislature,
there promisee to be a retying of the
disunited foroee and every probability ot
winning the day. The Conservative

All the Liberal Conventions were well
attended thereby atteeting the interest
felt in the very important matter of gel.
