TurnipSeeds
Always get the beat as it costs no more to grow GOOD than
poor Seeds of any kind. The success no doubt depends largely on
the preparation of the soil, but not leas so on the QUALITY of the
Seed sown. Impressed with this fact we always procure our Seeds
from one of the most reliable firms in Canada. We now have in
stock the following varieties of Turnip Seeds, viz.:-
BRUOE'S NEW CENTURY -A Purple Top Swede, resembling the Weetbory, of
splendid uniform growth and fine quality. It is the best Swede we know of to
resist mildew and ie a heavy Dropper,
NEW KANGAROO -A very hardy Swede similar in size and growth to the Ele-
phant and increasing in popularity each year.
-sr ATiTLIgY: $..BRONZ,E TOP -Small neck and single top roots, very rich in quality
and a good keeper.
HALL'S WESTBURY-A well known Standard Variety and one of the best.
BANGHOLM -A large and handsome variety and a popular Turnip,
WHITE SWEDE -Remarkable for its nutritious properties, hardiness and long
keeping.'
GREY STONE -A white fleshed Turnip ; early, hardy and of good quality.
Our Customers Highly Recommend these Varieties

J. Leckie, Chairman
W. L. Leatherdale, Sec'y
of the Right Hon. Sir Wilfrid Laurier,
Tbe country is at the present time
prosperous, due in a great extent to
wise legislation and the progressive
policy of the Laurier Government.
We are pleased to see that our honored
leader has occupied such a prominent
position in the recent conference of
colonial Premiers, and trust that he
may long be spared to guide the des-
tinies of our fair Dominion."
"We heartily endorse the Liberals of
the Legislature in selecting Hon. Geo.
P. Graham as leader of tbe Liberal
party in the Legislature. During his
short time as leader with bis little band
of followers he has shown that the Lib-
erals in the Local House are wide
awake, and good results may be ex-
pected in the near future."
"That we express unqualified dis-
approval and condemnation of all un-
fair and illegal means of securing the
success of a candidate at political elec-
tions. We further condemn in no
unmeasured terms the means employed
by some of our political opponents in
their efforts to secure party gains by
blackening the reputation of honorable,
capable, and useful men, as instanced
in the cases of Messrs. Hyman and
Emmerson."
