SECOND ANNIVERSARY
A SPLENDID SUCCESS,

The year of our Lord 1906 le a red

celebrated and the oxtiuotion of the
oharob debt deoided upon and to be re-

Three annivereary dates were decided
REV, S. J. ALLIN
upon, and former pastors were invited to
preach, Rev. W. M. Smyth taking the
first on Oatober 7th rendering fine
eervioe.
November 11th was the second Sabbath

Parkhill, 000apied the paipit with pine -

assembled. Hie morning theme was
"Tbe good Shepherd" from whish many

Thanksgiving," and 0. Riohardsoo and
W. H. Kerr gave a duet entitled "There
never wee any one like Him." Io the
evening the text was "Be not overcome of
evil but overcome evil with good," The
speaker elicited manypractical thoughts
and suggestions which if praotieed
would brighten np tide old world without
any doubt and remove many a heartaohe
and sorrow, It was a sermon a perien
could go from the °bench and, oommenoe
work at once, Rev. Mr. Allis was al
ways a favorite here and hie return was a
source of pleasure to many.
"Great is the Lord" was the title of a
wall sang anthem by the ohoir and during
the offertory Mies 0. Hingeton and Mre.
