her nephew, Wm, Nicholson, on Wed-
nesday, June 3rd, after a short illieee,
Miss Fanny Sheik (familiarly known
as Aunt Faintly) aged 78 years and 19
daye. Deceased who was of German
parentage, was the eldest of eleven
children born to Daniel and Susannah
Sherk, seven of whom, Silas, John
and Moses in the States, and Reuben
of Kendall, Mrs. Cooens of Trowbridge
Mrs, Near of Humberstone and Mrs.
Nicholson of Winnipeg are still Iiving,
Nancy, Eliza and Jeremiah, having
died eome years ago. Sbe was a kind-
ly, Christian woman, belonging to the
east of Mennonites, The funeral cer-
vices were conducted by the Rev, M';
Wesley of Wroxeter, and the remains
were laid to rest in the Bluevale ceme-
tery. Relatives were present from—
Trowbridge, Elora, Hamilton and
Fordwicb. The pall -bearers were Mes-
ers. David Patton, David Moffatt,
Joseph Curtis, Joseph .Breckenridge,
Oloin Higgins and George Thornton.
