Ilan, of Cargill, the marriage t� tale place Dec. 23rd, in Paisley. -Mr. Cee. H. Smith has resigned his position as manager of the Molson's Bank at Lueknow and is succeeded by Mr. T. Reid, of Teeswater. Mr. Smith has severed his connection with the bank and will likely go West. -Many frierds will regret to hear of the serious illness of Mrs. W. J. Currie, of East Wawanosh. Mrs. Currie under- went an operation at Wingham Hospital on Monday and her friends are glad to learn that she is recovering nicely. -The summer weather of two weeks was brought to a close on Saturday night end Sunday when this section was visited by a snow storm and winter weather. The winter weather is more seasonable and is welcomed by our merchants. --W1-.
