The annual repot of Mr. J. E. Weth-
erell, M.A., High chool Inspector, has
been received and 's very gratifying.
He notes that 'nce last inspection

renovation begun 'n 1911 in halls and
class -rooms has ben completed. More
pictures are requ ed for the walls and
more time is s ggested for physical
exercises. The popularity of the
school is shown b the large attendance
which may make an addition to the

New Marriage aw Amendments
On Thursday, M .y 15th, the provis-
ions of the recent amendments to the
marriage act came nto force. It is now
possible for partie who are desirous of
entering into the . issful state to pro-
cure a license with out one of the pair
having resided in the district for at
least fifteen days rior to the date of
the issue. This p ovision can be over-
come if a notice o the application for

Game.
On Saturda , May 17th, the H. S.
Football Team lased Woodatock Bap-
tist College in oodstock on the College
grounds. The two teams were very
evenly matchein every way as the
score shows, it eing 2 to 1 in favour
of Woodstock. The College Team won
the toss and ki ed with the wind and
down a slight i cline. This waslitheir
chance to score 3 fid in spite of a strong
defence by Win ham they secured two
goals during the first half-hour W. H.
