Rebecca Raynard, beloved wife of Irwin Jackson, aged 60 years, 8 months and II days. —The Humber Leach Hotel Com- pany, which Intends to erect an up-to- date hotel on the site of the old Humber Leach hotel, near Toronto, at a cost of 150,4,00, secured a transfer of the license held by Mr. L. W. Hanson from the West York License Commissioners on Saturday afternoon. The considera- tion paid for the license was about '25,000. Mr. Hanson is the former well-known landlord of the National Hotel, Wingham. New Telephone Switchboard. The new switchboard for the local office of the Bell Telephone Co. bas arrived in town and will be installed as goon as possible. The new board is of the very latest design and is equipped with all attachments of the latest Mattern. The lural office is one of the most important telephone centrals in Western Ontario and the Bell Telephone ''o., through the kcal manager, Mr, L. F.
