Day Alliance was held in the Methodist
Church, on Wedn sday evening, Sept.
4th. Rev. Dr. W. L. Rutledge presid-
ed, Rev. D. Perri and Rev. G. V. Col-
lins assisted in th opening and closing
exercises. Rev. . G. Hanna, B. A.,

work this Society as accomplished in
securing a better observance of the
rest day laws and in trying to bring
the people of this c untry to a realiza-
tion of the value of the Lord's Day 'as

Mr. A, Kelly offers for sale his

ial Committee which visited the West-
ern Foundry reported that the Commit-
tee was shown accounts and invoices
showing that the machinery and equip-
ment had been installed at a cost of
$10,569.44 and ther • had been spent on
the buildings, $20,9, 7, making a total
