of officers when the members of
St. Stephen's Anglican Guild met
at the home of Mrs. Harold King.

Remembrance was the theme

Bennett. Mrs. Wayne King read
the Collect for Peace and
scripture from Ecclesiastes. She
also read "In Flanders Fields"
and a Remembrance Day poen.
Following this, the hymn,
"Onward, Christian Soldiers",'
was sung and roll call on peace
was answered by 20.
The bake sale and tea spon-
sored by the Sunday School and
choir will be held November 24
from 2 to 4 p.m.. Another noon
luncheon is planned for
November 29 from 11:45 until 1.
The Christmas Guild party will
,be a potluck dinner in the church
December 12 at 7:30 p.m. At this
,:time gifts valued at between ;1.50
and $2.00 .will 'be exchanged.
Members are also to bring
something to donate to the shutin
baskets.
Donations for Sunday School
Christmas bags are to be left at
the church or given to Mrs. Harry
Zimmerman by December 9.
The meeting closed with
prayer and Mrs. Harold King and
Mrs. Lloyd Griffith served lunch.
