resides in Burlington. Miss

Comber and Scotty Jackson, all
former teachers at the school.
Mrs. Donald MacRae of
Toronto was a guest at the
morning worship service Sunday
at the United Church. Mrs.
MacRae is the widow of a former
minister of the church.
Mr. and Mrs. Ross Vogan of
Lindsay returned home for the
centennial. They lived in
Wingham when he was on the
staff of Wingham District High
School. Mrs. Vogan was the
former Ada Clark.
Mr. and Mrs. Stan Hiseler of
Port Colborne visited in town for
the weekend. He sang in the
United Church centennial choir,
having once been a member of
that church choir.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Beard of
Mitchell returned to Wingham
for the centennial.
Between 50 and 75 friends
visited at St. Paul's Anglican
Church on Saturday with Dr.
Irlma Kennedy -Jackson of
Hamilton. Dr. Kennedy -Jackson
is now over 80. She is a daughter
of the late Dr. J. Kennedy who
opened the first medical clinic
here. She doctored here with her
father and left Wingham in the
early 1930s when her office was
taken over by Dr. W A.
Crawford. She practised in
British Columbia for some time,
then returned to Hamilton,
Ontario, where she is still
practising in her specialized field
of neurology and psychiatry,
Harry Posliff of Strathroy, a
son of former public school
principal, Alf Posliff, attended
the centennial celebrations.
Returning for the birthday
party were some members of the
family of Jack and I,ou Swarts
who at one time owned the
Queen's Hotel in Wingham.
