A FARM WOODLOT management tour sponsored by the Wingham office of the ministry
of natural resourcesiwas held Saturday. Foresters and landowners from a large area of
southwestern Ontario heard wogdlot and windbreak information seminars and toured
sites sfiowtng good woodlot management. Marvin Smith of the ministry points out things
to look for in a six-year-old stand of .white pine.

Dave Grummett and Ian Deslauriers of the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority and .
students from Colborne,Central School at Camp Wyoka. The authority rents the camp In
the spring for a conservation school and the trustees were there to get an inside look at a
field trip.
