Fish derby hold
for handicapped
About 30 mentally retarded
children from the Wingham and
Palmerston areas took part in the
annual fish derby hosted by the
Wingham Sportsmen's Aub on
Sunday. By the end of the af-
ternoon they had about 40 fish to
take home with them.
Club members stock their pond
each year in preparation for the
event and then assist the young
anglers in catching, cleaning and
weighing the fish.
Some of .the wives of club
members prepare hot dogs and
pop which are served during the
day.
