Ken Scott is
survived by
large family
Friends in Belgrave and
throughout the area have been
saddened by the death of John
Kenneth Scott, RR 1 Belgrave.
Mr. Scott, who was in his 52nd
year, died at University Hospital,
London on Friday, following a
long illness.
He was born in East Wawanosh
Township on Sept. 4, 1927, son of
the late Robert James Scott and
his wife, the former Margaret
Isobel Aitken. In 1952 he was
married to Lottoe Margaret
Saunders at her home in Ashfield
Township, who survives.
Mr. Scott farmed for some
years and later was employed in
construction work. He was a
member of the Presbyterian
Church, Belgrave.
In addition to his wife he is sur-
vived by ten children: Mrs. Jerry
(Beth) de Bruyn, Clifford; Mrs.
Bill (Ila) Gadke, Lakelet; Patsy,
Clifford; Karen, Audrey, John,
Jim, Bill, Kevin and Allan, all at
home. There are three sisters
and one brother, Mrs. John (Isa-
bel) McMillan, Listowel; Mrs.
Gordon ( Nora) Robb, RR 3,
Goderich; Mrs. Leonard ( Mary )
Eccles, Holstein and Malcolm of
Belgrave. Also survived by three
granddaughters and one grand-
son.
Service was conducted at the
Currie -Walker Funeral Home on
Monday at 1:00 p.m. by Rev.
John G. Roberts, with interment
in Brandon Cemetery. Pall-
bearers were Don Campbell,
Arnold Bruce, Harold Vincent,
Murray Vincent, Bruce Campbell
and Jim McCallum. The flowers
were carried by Norm Cook,
John Carmichael, Bill Gallaher
and Clarke Johnslim.

The annual meeting of the Wing -
ham and District Hospital Associ-
ation will be held on Thursday,
June 21 at 8 p.m. in the Nurses'
Training School building on Cath-
erine Street in Wingham. All
matters of business pertaining to
the Wingham and District Hospi-
tal Association will be transact-
ed, including the election of dir-
ectors and other officers. Chang-
es in hospital bylaws will be con-
sidered. Any person who is at
least 18 years old and who pays to
the corporation 15 or more days
before the annual meeting in any
one year, a membership fee of $1,
shall be a member of the corpor-
ation for the following 12 months.
The one year membership may
be obtained at the hospital office.
Again a reminder memberships
must be purchased at least 15
