Clinton May 16, Fire Chief Dave
Crothers reported. The school,
which was sponsored by the
Huron County Mutual Fire Aid
Association, dealt with topics
such as pump maintenance,
hydraulics and water supply.
Fifty-five firemen from across
the county attended the school,
which also attracted training
instructors from the Guelph and
Stratford departments .and the
Mitchell chief.
Mr. Crothers also reported 230
fire chiefs from across the
province and 195 members of the
women's auxiliary to the fire
chiefs' association were present
at the annual meeting in Corn-
wall which he attended May 5-11.
