That was part of the report by credit union manager George Michie Monday night at the annual meeting of North Huron Credit Union. The meeting was slated for last Friday night, but the storm forced the delay. Mr. Michie said it seemed the credit_ union couldn't get away from winter storms no matter when the an- nual meeting is slated. It was put off until April this year so there would be no weather problems. Mr Michie noted that assets of the member -owned credit union increased just $27,000 in 1978, well down from the 1977 growth of $350,000. At the end of March, 1979, assets stood at about $1.1 million. Club members studied how accessories can best accent their wardrobes and became more aware of how to select and care for jewelry, shoes, belts, scarves and hats. They also sewed a simple accessory to wear in the summer months. County home economists, Grace Bird and Bea Me- Clenaghan, will be conducting achievement days throughout the county in the coming months. The days set for North Huron are: Dungannon, Brookside Public School, April 25 at 7:30 p.m.; Ethel, Grey Central Public School, May 1, 7:30 p.m.; Blyth, Hullett Central Public School, May 7, 7:30 p.m.; and Gorrie, Howick Central Public School, May 12, 9:00 a.m. Clearing Auction Sale of Farm Machinery and some Household Effects will be held for E.
