das. A daughter, Florence, pre-
deceased her in 1940. She is also
survived by a sister, Mrs. Philip
(Jennie) Dawson of Wingham;
eleven grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren. Service was
held from the McCleister Funeral
Home, Brantford, Friday at 11
a.m. and interment followed in
Wingham Cemetery. A graveside
service was conducted by Rev.,
Barry Passmore of the Wingham
United Church.

est brother, Dr. George Parker,
who had remained in the I;JSA.
There, he entered Kirksville Col-
lege of Osteopathic Medicine and
Surgery, was an honor graduate
and after internship, practised
for a time in the South before
coming to Canada and settling in
Wingham where he pioneered for
many years in his chosen field of
practice.
Of a quiet and retiring disposi-
tion, his sterling qualities and
Irish wit endeared him to hosts of
friends and patients who have
missed him sadly. He is survived
by his wife, the former Norma
Gee of Listowel, two daughters,
Mrs. John (Patricia) Hay of
Wingham and Mrs. M. E. J.
(Grace) O'Loughlin of Houston,
Texas; also four grandchildren.
He was predeceased by one
grandson, John William Hay, in
March of this year, also by his
two brothers, Dr. George W.
Parker of Daytona Beach, Flbr-
ida, and Dr. Robert Parker of
Dublin, Ireland, both of whom
had visited him frequently in
Wingham.
Funeral service was conducted
from the R. A. Currie and Son
Funeral Home on Monday by
Rev. Barry Passmore, pastor of
the Wingham United Church, and
Rev. T. Kenneth Hawthorn, rec-
tor of St. Paul's Anglican Church,
Wingham.
Pallbearers were Dr. Jack
Roe, Kenneth Sangster, Art Wil-
son, Fraser Forgie, Grant Wilton
and George Taylor. Flower bear-
ers were Adam and Andrew
Mazer of Toronto. Interment fol-
lowed in Wingham Cemetery.

ael's Roman Catholic Church,
Blyth, for Mrs. Daniel Hallahan
of RR 1, Bdgrave. Rev. J. Hardy
officiated at the 11 a.m. Mass and
interment followed in St.
Michael's Cemetery, Morris
Township.
Pallbearers were four
nephews, Mike Hallahan, Bill
Hallahan, Jim Steffler and
Maurice Hallahan, and two
cousins, George Fitzpatrick and
Bill McCormick. Floral tributes
were carried by her niece, Jo -
Marie McCormick, and cousins
Diane and Doreen McCormick.
Mrs. Hallahan died Sunday,
October 31, at the Wingham and
District Hospital following a
lengthy illness. She was in her
71st year. Born in Cuirass Town-
ship, she was the former Mary
Hilda McCormick, daughter of
the late Andrew McCormick and
Lucy Lamont. She received her
education at Holmes School,
Turnberry Township.
Mrs. Hallahmn was a member
of St. Michael's Roman Catholic
Church, Blyth; the Catholic
Women's League of that church
and the Women's Institutes of
Blyth and Belgrave.
Surviving are her husband,
whom she married on June 26,
1935, in Sacred Heart Church,
Teeswater; two daughters, Mrs.
Lloyd (Maty Lou) Aubin, Goder-
ich, and Margaret, London; three
sons, Frank and Joe of Blyth and
Tom of Belgrave. There are five
grandsons;' three granddaugh-
ters; one brother, Donald Mc-
Cormick of RR 2, Wingham; and
one sister, Kate McCormick,
Teeswater. One daughter,
Catherine, died at birth in 1943.
