Council sub- sequently decided to petition the Ministry of Transport and Communications for approval to start preliminary planning in 1976 and also to ask for a supple- mentary allocation of money to pay for the over spending of the 1976 budget. Council approved severance applications from J Deans and the CNR building permits totaling $48,000 were approved. Time and a half overtime pay- ment was approved for the roads department for time worked in excess of 4511 hours per week. Council also approved a grant of $200 to the How•ick Fall Fair Board.
