AWARD WINNERS at Sacred Heart Separate School were given scholarships and money
Monday night at the Grade Eight Graduation. Back, Michele Foxton, $15 scholarship,
general proficiency; Sharon Brophy, $25 scholarship, general proficiency; Terry Curran,
track and field trophy, intermediate boy champ and his brother Brad Curran, senior boys'
champ. Front, Teddy Brophy, intermediate girls; David Montgomery, junior boys and
Helen Ortlieb, senior girls.
THE CATHOLIC WOMEN'S LEAGUE sponsored two general proficiency scholarships
for the Sacred Heart graduating class. Mrs. Betty Belanger, CWL vice-president,
presents the top award to Sharon Brophy with Mrs. O'Malley, principal, as witness.

Valedictorian Leo Kinahan dis-
cussed all of his nine years at
Sacred Heart. He concluded by
wishing his fellow classmates the
best of luck.
