Tuckshop
Tucked away in the corner of
the cafeteria is one of the more
interesting areas _of the school
that most people seem to bypass
too readily. It's the student coun-
cil's tuckshop, supplying every-
thing you could want in gymwear
and F. E. Madill mementos.
There is always something inter-
esting to look at, like the new
dufflebags that just arrived.
The job of tuckshop manager is
open to any student who has an
interest in business, in meeting
people, or contributing to our
school in an active way. The
manager is responsible for hav-
ing the tuckshop open, ordering
necessary supplies and selling
the stock. This year, the manager
is Bart3ara Ryan and her appoint-
ed assistant is Susan Adams. This
term the tuckshop will be open on
ol Wednesdays during both lunches.
So! Even if you have no definite
purchase in mind, come in and
look around.
Barb Ryan
(Tuckshop Manager)
WAIT!
Slow down, you hasten by too fast
There surely must be time
To sit a while here on the grass
And come to know your mind.
The hours of this sunset's glow
Are few, and fleeting fast.
This radiant time of warmth and
gold
Is destined not to last.
Those hills that stretch beyond us
In the vibrant green of spring
Must sure be worth the cost of
time
It takes to see such things.
Oh, cast not off the beauties here
Of such a time and place,
For if you always pass them by.
You lose so much of grace.
So pause here by my side awhile,
Rest heart and mind and soul
And when you rise, perhaps you'll
be
A man somewhat more whole.
