The second half seven o'clock rink of Don Adams, skip; Fern Wylie, vice; Tom Douglas, sec- ond; Donalda Graham, lead won the Howick Curling Club Trophy donated by the club and pre- sented by Bob Hastie, club presi- dent. The second half nine o'clock draw rink of Kevin Hastie, skip; Mel Greig, vice; Mary King, sec- ond; Keith Angst, lead won the Davidson Funeral Home Trophy, donated and presented by Terry Davidson. A club jitney was held the last two nights and the Johnston Barber Shop Club Champs Tro- phy, presented by Lionel 'John- ston was won by Bob Hastie, skip; Cecil Wilson, vice; Ron Kieffer, second and Gary Doug- las, lead. During the evening door prizes donated by The Toronto Domin- ion Bank, Gorrie, were won by Mrs. Gordon Adams and Bill Nay, both of Gorrie. Spot dance prizes donated by Paul and Joyce Statia, Lyle and Leone Foerter, Dene and Bob Hastie, Lloyd and Elaine Nickel, Canadian imperial Bank of Com- merce, Wroxeter and Carl and Joan Stewart; were won by Mr. and Mrs. Bob Elschner, and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Adams, of Gor- rie, Mrs. Gail Holtom and Dale Hartwick, both of Harriston. The Foursome, - from Atwood provided the music for dancing. The club executive is grateful to all for their co-operation dur- ing the past year and also to all who worked so hard to make the closing evening such a success. It is hoped all will be back curling come fall, along with a lot of new faces. - Clifford Seniors are guests of Fordwich Club FORDWICH — The Senior Citi- zens held their meeting in the community hall on April 5th. They had as their guests Clifford Senior Citizens. Wray Cooper welcomed the members and guests and Mr. McPhail of Clif- ford brought greetings from the Clifford Club. The program was convened by Mrs. Ernie Dinsmore and Mrs. Russel Nickel, dressed in hillbilly attire. They introduced the mem- bers with jokes and takeoffs on local people. The McMichael sisters of Wroxeter entertained with several members of step dancing. Mrs. Ken Graham and her sister, Mrs. Les Halliday, sang two Easter duets. Albert Ashley of Listowel showed slides of his trip to the United Nations asrepresentative from the Listowel Secondary School, also giving a very inter- esting commentary. After the program several games of progressive euchre were enjoyed.
