Listowel clobbered Exeter 7-2
in Tuesday's playoff match and
later defeated St. Marys 4-2 in the
semi-finals Friday. New Ham-

defeated by Simcoe 3-2. Simcoe
advanced to the finals after
downing Strathroy 7-3 in Friday's
semi-final.
In the first period, goalies Paul
Paradis for Listowel and Danny
Ciotti of Simcoe made excellent
saves to keep the game tight and
fast. The aggressive Listowel
club scored their first goal on a
screen shot by Jeff Johnson
assisted by Steve Scott and Dale
McTaggart. Rob Humphrey tied
the score two minutes later on a
power play goal with Tim Smith
collecting the assist.
Listowel's Kevin Scholl made
the score 2-1 in the second with
Wayne Long assisting. But, less

wel scored a short-handed goal
by George Adams on a pass from
Kevin Pruden. Murray Williams
put the icing on the cake with a
pass from McTaggart at the 13:37

wel still pressing, McTaggart
scored to make it 5-1 from assists
by Adams and Murray Kerr.
With time running out in the
final 15 minutes of play, Simcoe
scored an unassisted goal at the
end of the game to close out the
scoring at 5-2. Simcoe was as -

Listowel served 20 minutes in the
