JOB DESCRIPTION
As assistant and understudy to the Cemetery
Supervisor of the Wingham Cemetery, com-
prising approximately eleven acres, under
direction responsible for maintenance of
grounds, roadways and markers, precise loca-
tion of burial plots when required for intern-
ments, opening and closing of graves,
maintenance of accurate records and ac-
counts, other related duties as required.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
As an employee of the Corporation of the
Town of Wingham, this position is a six-month
seasonal position, initially subject to a normal
period of probation. Based on demonstrated
satisfactory performance, it may lead to full
time employment in the' future.
OUALIFICATIONS
Ability to operate hand tools and power
equipment; ability to maintain accurate records;
ability to understand and apply regulations;
ability to accept supervision and to supervise
staff.
Knowledge and previous acceptable ex-
perience in the operations of a cemetery is
desirable.
Personal suitability and satisfactory physical
condition.

Tender Description
1. Bell Tower:
Supply and install 28 gauge steel cover
on deck of bell tower, flanged and sealed to
the bell supports; all seams and nail heads
to be soldered against the weather.
2. Parapet:
Supply and install .025 gauge coloured
aluminum cap on parapet around three sides
of west end of building, sloped to shed
water with the wood under flashing to be
replaced if necessary.
3. Chimney:
Remove damaged brick of approximately
top four feet of chimney, recap and finish.
4. Masonry:
Repair all damaged masonry and rebrick
closed doorway on south wall to conform to
and match existing masonry.
Interested parties may submit sealed tenders
to the clerk's office during normal office hours
before June 24, 1983 at 5:00 p.m.
