Jr. WI to repeat
seniors' tea, trip
As a result of its over-
whelming popularity last
year, the Howick Jr.
Women's Institute is plan-
ning a repeat of its special
senior citizens' tea party.
The .Kea is planned for 2
p.m. June 22 at the Gorrie
United Church as part of
Senior Citizens' Week.
Margaret Greig, a
spokesman for the Junior
WI, said the group got a
"really good feeling" from
last year's events and is
looking forward to a repeat
performance. She noted
there was an excellent
response last year to the tea,
which also features pie to
attract the gentlemen.
AH seniors from Howick
Township are invited to
attend. and there will be
posters around the township
advertising the event.
Together 'with the tea there
will again be a draw for a
day trip for two. Seniors who
